This is an opportunity to build effective relationships with new and existing customers, and support and drive sales by ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes that are in line with the company’s business goals and values.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the successful applicant will be based out of Brisbane Architectural Showroom.
Key Responsibilities & Focus
- Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers and key contractors to maximize product specifications and profitable sales
- Attend industry related trade events to network & increase brand recognition
- Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer relationships
- Deliver sustainable business growth through pipeline sales management.
- Build a high-quality customer portfolio
- Present range of products to customers both one on one and in group settings
- Manage projects from specification stage with architects through to following it through with support to Johnson Tiles Commercial BDM
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all lead opportunities and call cycle into BCI / CRM; ensuring follow up and conversion.

About You
If you are highly motivated sales hunter who is looking to drive growth and excellence, is adaptable and comfortable assisting with all tasks as required, then this role is for you.
- A team player, with a supportive, enthusiastic, positive “can do” attitude with Passion to exceed individual and team sales targets
- Ability to successfully Develop and Maintain Key Account Relationships.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Good Time Management and Organisational Skills
- Effective usage and Management of CRM, Call Cycles and Sales Reporting Systems.
- Exceptional relationship building and Customer Service Skills. Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal.
- An ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- In depth awareness & understanding of market intelligence.
- Physically able to carry out tasks such as lifting boxes of tiles and related tiling products.
Previous experience in the Tile Industry is desirable, but not essential.
