Management Accountant - Contract

Our client is a growing organisation, with an Australian wide footprint, based close to Brisbane CBD.Due to how busy the business is, the Brisbane based team are seeking to bring on an experienced Management Accountant.Ideally this will start as a 4-month contract, starting immediately, that has potential to grow into a longer-term role for the right candidate.The RoleThis role is well suited to a CA/CPA qualified Management Accountant, who brings experience in Management Accounting, enjoys is keen to work in a busy, fast paced role.Duties include:

• Budgeting, Forecasting and variance analysis
• Analysis of Management Accounts and insights
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Support implementation of process improvements
• Support with internal and external audits
• Analysis of business performance and profitability
• Oversee a small portion of transactional work

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Tertiary Qualification in Accounting or Finance
• CA/CPA or working towards completion
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Ideally 5+ years demonstrated experience including budgeting, forecasting, analysis within a similar role
• Have the ability to identify opportunities for change and improvement.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain financial concepts to different stakeholders in the business
