The Role
Reporting in to the Head of Technology, Strategy & Architecture, the Architecture Practice Manager is a newly created role.
The Architecture Practice Manager role exists to ensure MLCL's technology architects and solution designers practice in a consistent and ever improving way, ensuring the right architects are working on the right problems at the right time.
You will act as a lead and coach for the Architecture practice, building capability and capacity within the team to effectively manage the allocation of projects and initiatives, and ensuring alignment with quality standards and strategy.
In addition, you will also play a hands-on role in assisting with the identification, addressing, and scheduling of issues, risks and solutions that may impact the successful implementation of any business initiatives.
About you
An experienced Architecture Practice Manager, you possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the financial services and/or insurance industry.
You may currently be managing an Architecture Practice, or have been a part of a mature and established Architecture Practice and are now ready to take on the next step of managing one.
You know what good looks like and have best practice knowledge of how a robust and effective Architecture practice should run and function.
You know what not enough architecture looks like and you know what too much architecture looks like and you will know how to find the right balance in a dynamic environment.
Lastly, you possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders to drive and influence meaningful decision making within the Technology business.
