The Position
Due to the continued growth of the College, we are looking for suitable applicant to fill an exciting new Hybrid role at our Melton Campus.
The successful Applicant will work in a part- time capacity, 5 days a week across two areas.
There will be a 50/50 split between the Art Technician and Learning Assistant – Secondary roles.
Art Technician:
The Art Technician provides support to Teaching staff and will be responsible for:
The Preparation and pack up of Art lessons.
Assist in purchasing, maintaining and record keeping for all supplies and equipment.
Assist with framing, curating and displaying student Artworks.
Learning Assistant Secondary:
Learning Assistants are integral to the College’s Learning and Teaching Program, and the successful candidate work with a dynamic team that provides support and extension programs for secondary students.
The Learning Assistant will liaise with, and support teachers across various programs providing practical help to staff and students in the classroom as needed.
The Person
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate must have:
• Minimum Certificate III in Education Support / Children Service’s
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillset
• Demonstrated experience partnering with and engaging a diverse range of internal stakeholders
• The ability to work on a flexible basis and to work with various teaching staff and students
• Working with Children Check ‘E’
• First Aid/Anaphylaxis qualifications
