Job description

As a Policy Futures graduate, you’ll feel the connection your work has to our purpose - to improve the lives of Queenslanders through the development and implementation of innovative and effective government policy.

Throughout the two-year program, you'll rotate across Queensland Government, gaining exposure to diverse and complex policy environments where you will be free to explore your interests and learn from experts in the field.

You’ll receive comprehensive learning and development opportunities, equipping you with the skills to fast track your career. You’ll also receive a professional mentor, peer support, e-learning, and a range of networking opportunities.

Are you eligible?

Policy Futures is open to graduates from all degrees and disciplines who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • completion of a bachelor's degree (equivalent of a level seven qualification) or higher between 31 October 2022 and 31 January 2025.
  • be an Australian citizen, or a resident of Australia and have unrestricted working rights under Australian Commonwealth law
  • be willing to relocate to Brisbane for the 2-year program, if successful. Graduate placements are based in Brisbane City, but you may be required to undertake placements in the Greater Brisbane Region and Ipswich.
