Asp1 Project Manager/Estimator

Newcastle Power Lines is a leading electrical ASP 1, 2 & 3 company based in Beresfield. 

Responsibilities of Electrical Project manager/estimator will include:

• Analysing ASP1 Overhead and Underground designs, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of electrical work required for each project.
• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical materials, equipment, labour, subcontractors, and overheads.
• Preparing and submitting competitive bid proposals to clients in a timely and professional manner. 
• Ordering & management of incoming and outgoing stock.
• Collaborating with supervisors and electricians to ensure that electrical work is completed according to the specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Reviewing completed projects to compare actual costs with estimated costs and identify areas for improvement in future estimates.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in electrical estimating & project management.
• Ability to interpret Electrical working drawings for HV and LV Network, Substations, and/or Overhead/Underground Network construction. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level customer relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level organisational and presentational skills.
• High level PC and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience in Ausgrid Network & Essential Energy Networks.
