Quality Control Manager

Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join their team and play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of their products. 

• Lead the Quality Control function, ensuring that products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Drive process improvements and create a culture of accountability and excellence within the production floor.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated background in assessing food safety and quality processes, with the ability to recognise and address gaps proactively.
• Strong knowledge of food science and the ability to conduct individual product checks.
• Experience in leading a team or ready to make the natural progression from a supervisory or coordination role in a similar environment.
• Ability to implement changes to product specifications and processes, while fostering compliance and a culture of transparency and accountability.
• Pragmatic and detail-oriented with the ability to uphold high standards and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• A qualification in food science or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in food safety and quality management.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry.
• A forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for enhancement and drive positive change within a Quality Control function.
