- Receive and assess of complex and sensitive complaint and information from employees and stakeholders to determine whether it amounts to suspected corrupt conduct or a public interest disclosure.
- Undertake investigations into complaints of corrupt conduct and misconduct within Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated experience in assessment of suspected corrupt conduct matters, ethical and professional practice standards and public interest disclosure management processes, with the ability to operate effectively in a high volume, sensitive and complex work environment
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation, application and provision of advice on the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 and other relevant legislation and Metro North policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in the conduct of suspected corrupt conduct and misconduct investigations.
- High level interpersonal, liaison and communication skills, including the capacity and ability to negotiate or communicate on behalf of the agency with senior internal and external stakeholders
- High level written communication skills, including ability to prepare documents, investigation reports and briefing notes for senior officers on complex and sensitive issues
