Footprints Community is a well-regarded not-for-profit provider of community-based services, working in the community for over 30 years. We specialise in working with older people, those that experience disability, mental illness, as well as those who are at risk of homelessness.
About the role and program
The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as part of a small supportive team to create and administer rostered services to our aged care and disability services clients requiring support services living in the community.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in administration, rostering, scheduling, or similar role, in a small to medium organisation.
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills, together with the demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service to internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in working with a diverse client group including people who are ageing, people with mental illness, dementia and younger people with a disability and their carers/families. Demonstrated experience in customer service and the ability to manage distressed customers while working in a busy team environment.
- Demonstrated experience working within the parameters of defined policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, organisational and accurate data entry accuracy.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs, and database systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- National NDIS Worker Screening Check or current Yellow Card.
