A Mechanical Engineer at Delta is responsible for the ASSET MANAGEMENT of complex plant items, or simple plant systems, using routine commercial arrangements and balancing internal and external resources to ensure reliable plant operations at our Vales Point power station.

Who We Are Looking For (Selection criteria)
Please address each of the Selection Criteria listed below in your application.
- Degree Qualifications in Engineering or relevant equivalent qualifications along with both practical and theoretical engineering experience.
- Substantial knowledge of modern power station plant or heavy industry including a genuine interest in operation and diagnosis of large process plant.
- Substantial contract knowledge and experience, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills, ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.
- Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work across multiple levels in an organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership including developing and mentoring staff.
- A genuine commitment to process and personal safety.
