Ricardo Rail Australia is currently looking for a dedicated and well-organized junior Engineer with an interest in Asset Management. As the Junior Engineer, Asset Management & Maintenance Advisory, you will be responsible for supporting the Ricardo Asset Management & Maintenance Advisory (AMMA) team in Australia across all projects, including support to international projects and bids.

Responsibilities
As Junior Engineer, Asset Management & Maintenance Advisory, you will:
- Provide technical support for the successful delivery of projects throughout the entire engineering life cycle
- Support the planning and conduct of Asset Management and engineering activities
- Help foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team
- Attend client's office and other sites as required to support with the provision of advice on technical matters.
- Develop technical reports as required to support decision making
- Support new business development for Ricardo Rail by supporting tendering / bid preparation activities.
- Complete required operational activities in accordance with approved procedures and within allocated budgets, that meet or exceed quality standards
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and project managers, to ensure seamless delivery of our services
- Identify potential risks and issues, and support with the development of mitigation plans to ensure successful project completion.
- Support development and implementation of Asset Management strategies that align with the team business objectives and goals
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience as a practising Engineer.
- Sound understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- High level of autonomy and ability to proactively achieve required outcomes
- Understanding of systems engineering principle and their application in the railway environment across Asset Management (desirable).
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential.
- Experience as an Engineer within the rail industry is desirable but not essential.
