Our client, the Ports Authority of NSW is a State Owned Corporation which manages the navigation, security, and operational safety needs of commercial shipping.
Based at Walsh Bay and reporting to the Senior Manager, Asset Management; the Asset Manager will be responsible for landside infrastructure assets at Glebe Island, White Bay and Botany Bay public facilities. The asset focus for the role will be the wharfs and associated infrastructure.
Primary functions for the Asset Manager include
- developing and managing 10 year asset plans
- building strong stakeholder relationships & providing expert advice
- drive continuous improvement of asset management systems and strategy
You will have strong communication capabilities to undertake the considerable stakeholder and customer engagements, understanding their changing needs and how this will impact the asset management strategy.
You will be commercially astute, identifying critical financial elements, have a demonstrated ability to develop functional and strategic documents, and demonstrated experience in managing systems for assets to baseline, as well as identification for improvements.
