We are seeking an Asset Manager to provide technical support to ensure the seamless operation of the renewable generation asset fleet. This role encompasses a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, focusing on safety, production targets, cost control, and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include upholding health, safety, and environmental standards, managing assets for optimal performance, engaging with key contractors, exploring operational enhancements, and monitoring compliance. Additionally, you will forge key relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments and external partners within the industry. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in renewable asset management, a comprehensive understanding of commercial contracts, proficiency in safety and environmental systems, and familiarity with wind turbine technology, solar projects, battery storage systems, and the National Energy Market in Australia. A degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline is preferred, along with GWO certification.
Role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney and regular travel (35%) to various assets will be required to fulfill business objectives.
