AddressAssistant Accountant - Burger Urge

Reporting to the CFO, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant ready to take the step up to managing a small team and owning our transactional processes. We are a dynamic and growing business which will create opportunity for you to grow with us.
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing Head Office AR, AP, Payroll and Month End processes
- Assisting store and head office financial reporting
- Assisting with store level AR, AP, Payroll and Month End processes
- Production of weekly KPI for store business centres
- Management of timely statutory lodgements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant tertiary qualifications essential
- CA/CPA or being in the process of undertaking it is highly desirable
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in a commercial accounting role desirable
- Demonstrated experience working in Xero essential
- 2 years processing payroll in an award driven sector essential
- Sound working knowledge of all state and federal statutory requirements
- Experience in management accounting desirable
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with inventory system desirable
- Experience with reporting/consolidation tools desirable.

- Self-driven and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Able to work under pressure and attend to any ad hoc functions as may be required

- Ability to drive efficiencies, insights and informed decision making through analysis
