We have a position available w orking within a friendly, supportive yet fast paced environment, this is a hands on role supporting the Accountants with various activities including bank reconciliations, balance sheet and GL reconciliations, journals, PAYG, BAS, assist in FBT preparation and month end reporting.
Your duties would include:
Month End reporting:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Month end journals, GL reconciliations, prepayments and accruals
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly Management reports including Profit and Loss, variance analysis, Costs of Sales and KPIs for multiple companies
- Assist in Event reconciliations
- Ensure transactions, supporting workpapers and EOM deadlines are met to the highest standard
Tax Reporting:
- Assist in preparation of the monthly BAS/GST
- Assist in compliance requirements in relation to FBT
- Monthly PAYGW reconciliations
Other Duties:
- Provide support to the AR and AP functions as required
- Assist with maintaining the Finance team's procedural documents
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
??????? To be successful in this role, you will have completed a tertiary qualification in Accounting. Studying towards a CPA/CA qualification will be highly desirable.
This role would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial accounting role in a similar environment. You will draw on your excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders and thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
High attention to detail and ability to follow through with requests for information or other tasks assigned are essential.
Intermediate Excel skills are essential for this role and previous experience with NetSuite will be desirable.
