Being family owned and highly successful they are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant – Property to join their corporate head office in Newstead.
About the role
- Assist with monthly review and reconciliation of balance sheets
- Assist with lodging, and reconciling all statutory
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting over time
- Assist with the maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Assisting in the interpretation and analysis of financial statements and budget performance
- Managing day-to-day transactional banking
- Reviewing & tabling financials and annual taxation papers for external tax accountants
- Providing quality financial advice to senior managers as required
- Assist with FBT, BAS and income tax
- Assist with all internal and external audits as required
- Assist in the development of strategies and guidelines enhancing understanding and implementation of financial best practice
- Provide support to other employees in the implementation of finance procedures
You will be a degree qualified Accountant, enrolled or part way through your CA/ CPA and looking to further enhance you month-end support duties. You will be outgoing, be able to forge quick relationships with non-finance stakeholders, have good Excel skills and be looking for a role that will continue to grow. An interest in operational businesses is a must!
