As part of the organisations' commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Creating processes and financial templates
- Preparation of BAS
- Assisting with Payroll Commitments
- Dashboard performance and governance reporting
- Training team in digital transformation and rolling out new systems and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA
- Strong systems and Excel experience and
- Comfortable dealing with large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
