The Role
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Accountant to collaborate closely with our Financial Controller. This role requires versatility across various finance functions, making it ideal for someone eager to broaden their expertise.
Your responsibilities will encompass essential tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation, preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and the creation of management reports.

Main Responsibilities
- Customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting
- Monthly payroll processing
- General ledger reconciliation
- Fixed asset schedule and reconciliation
- Preparation of BAS, FBT and Payroll tax lodgement
- Assist with month-end processing
- Assist with management reporting and budgeting
- Assist with preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Studying towards CPA/CA qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a finance/accounts role
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
