Assistant Accountant

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this position will:

• Prepare monthly management reports; analysing and investigating variances; summarising data, information, and trends;
• Prepare regulatory and statutory monthly, quarterly and annual returns and statements;
• Manage and improve the functioning of the group ERP system;
• Respond to financial and management enquiries by analysing and interpreting data;
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to operational issues;
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as required by management;
• Update job knowledge by keeping up to date with financial accounting standards and practices;
• Revenue forecasting and sales pipeline management;
• Involvement in acquisition planning and modelling;
• Support group companies in interpretation of operational results, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls reviews as required; and
• Other Ad hoc duties as required.

To be successful in your application, you will be a motivated and passionate person who is completing your CA or CPA. Prior experience as an Assistant Accountant is desirable, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
