The role:
This is a pivotal role responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and CFO. As an experienced Assistant Accountant you will be able to hit the ground running with day-to-day accounting activities. This will be a two week role starting ASAP!
Duties will include:
- Reviewing invoices
- Checking import tax
- Reviewing GST
- ERP project work
- Ad-hoc accounting duties as directed
To be successful in this position, you will have a background in accounting and an understanding of imported goods and GST. You will have the ability to work independently in an agile environment.
Skills and Experience Required:
- CA/CPA Qualified or working towards completing CPA
- 1-2 years Accounting experience
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or Retail desired.
