About You:
Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team? Join Wittur, the leading manufacturer of elevator components, at our office in Arndell Park. Your expertise will play a vital role in our collaborative efforts to Advance the Elevator Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Finance and HR Manager your key responsibilities will include.
- End to end accounts payable.
- Monthly payment of Intercompany and overseas suppliers in accordance with Group Policy.
- Accounts receivable including collections and weekly updates to the Finance Manager on overdues.
- Weekly Bank Reconciliations.
- Update Weekly Cash Flow Forecast.
- Daily receipting and costing of incoming shipments and stock.
- Invoicing via Sales Orders and Job Costing.
- Monthly credit card reconciliation and staff expenses.
- Assist in month end and year end preparation and processes, including reconciliation of General Ledger and Balance Sheet.
- Provide timely administration support including actioning daily office duties as required.
- Support Finance Manager on any ad hoc finance related matters.
The Candidate, and requirements:
The successful candidate will be motivated and reliable with a can-do attitude and enjoy working in a small team.
- Accounting Degree or Diploma qualifications.
- 3 years experience in similar role.
- Meticulous and detail orientated with an eye for accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise.
- Able to work well in a team, contribute ideas and cooperate with others to achieve common goals.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- ERP experience -MYOB EXO preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- An effective written and verbal communicator with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
