Australian Timber Supplies Pty Ltd (ATS) is one of Sydney's largest importers and distributors of timber, engineered wood, formwork products and building materials which are sold directly to Major Commercial Builders, Formworkers, and Carpenters. The company has a Hardware Division as well.
Your Opportunity
An exiting opportunity has become available for a Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic team on a full time basis that strives to exceed industry standards. This role can offer you exposure to financial accounting and there is also the opportunity for progression as the business continues to grow.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Bank reconciliations
- Corporate card expenses processing and reconciliations
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month end and year end processes
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting
- Assisting with statutory Requirements
- Processing payment via online banking
- Ad hoc tasks as required
