Our client is global, one of Queensland's largest and fast growing organisations and operate in over 30 countries. With a current maternity leave vacancy, there is a need for an Assistant Treasury Accountant who has had exposure to treasury, settlements and/ or banking experience.This role is a short term temporary assignment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Treasury Manager you will assist with a range of treasury and cash management tasks including but not limited to -
- Confirming and reconciling transactions,
- Processing payments for FX settlements,
- Maintaining list of loans, ensuring accuracy of interest calculation and repayment dates,
- Assisting with daily cash flow forecasts,
- Accurately recording treasury transactions in ERP financial system (Dynamics),
- Balance sheet reconciliations, bank, petty cash, travel expense claims and rebates, and
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
ABOUT YOU
This role will suit a degree qualified Accountant with 2+ years financial accounting experience and some exposure to treasury/ banking.
