The role

Have you just finished your Accounting Degree? 

Or are you studying and wanting an accounting career?

Do you have knowledge and hands on experience in accounts in accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger?

Do you have good excel skills?

Then this role would be perfect for you!!  We are looking for an undergraduate or post graduate or someone aspiring to become an accountant to join our finance team in the lovely Fraser Coast.  The role offers an amazing opportunity to build your career and become an integral part of our success. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist in daily accounting tasks to ensure sound financial operations;
• Ownership of general and accounts receivable ledger reconciliations;
• Manage a variety of data for daily, weekly and monthly transactions;
• Attend to enquiries from internal and external customers; 
• Be involved with various ad hoc projects for the finance team

To be successful, you will be someone who demonstrates the following attributes:

• Degree qualification in accounting or near completion and one to two years accounting experience;
• Sound knowledge / experience of reconciliations;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – intermediate/advanced skills in Excel;
• Results-orientated with the ability to learn quickly;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Adaptable to change 
• Detail-oriented and highly organised;
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
