Position Title: Assistant Accountant
Classification: HS2 – HS3 (subject to experience and qualifications)
Salary per hour: $33.79 to $37.68 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing full-time OR Ongoing part-time 60.8 hours per fortnight
Award: Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025
Role description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to grow your career in the health sector working as part of the finance team to support the financial operations of Dhelkaya Health.
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting financial processes related to general accounting operations including daily and month-end tasks. The role offers a great environment to further develop your skills.
About you
Previous experience in a similar role (desirable, however role would be suitable for an accounting graduate)
- Completed or working towards relevant qualifications in a finance or business related field
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.Excellent attention to detail
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to form business relationships and communicate financial issues.
