Assistant Accounts - Strata Management

As they continue their growth, they are seeking someone with direct Accounts experience & advanced admin skills to support their in house Accountant

Our client are committed to providing exceptional Strata Management services and have the best systems and technology in place. They work closely with owners and committees to maintain and improve properties, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, and create a positive living environment for everyone involved. The team are passionate about what they do, and they're looking for an Assistant Accountant person to join their operational support team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing a high level of Customer Service and Communication
• Financial Controls/Year End
• BAS (Quarterly)
• General account journaling and preparing strata plan budgeting and reporting
• Utilities on charge
• Second Debtors
• Taxation (Annual)
• Complete additional compliance activities and other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Exceptional attention to detail;
• The ability to work autonomously but also be able to contribute to the office culture;
• Commercial acumen and be a quick learner;
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in order to adhere to strict deadlines;
• A confident and energetic personality;
• Strong people and communication skills;
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask;
• 5+ years accounting / bookkeeping experience;
• Intermediate / advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in strata accounts (This will be of benefit, but not essential in applying for this position).
