Resthaven Marion are seeking an Assistant Coordinator of Hospitality Services. In collaboration with the Coordinator of Housekeeping Services, the Assistant Coordinator is responsible for the provision of efficient housekeeping services at the facility with a focus on satisfying resident needs, quality, and continuous improvement in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Resthaven Incorporated.

About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a quality hospitality service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement including:
Ensuring the provision of quality hospitality service meals to residents, maintaining compliance with food safety standards
Participating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditure, with effective and efficient use of resource
Coordinating provision of cleaning services and maintenance in accordance with required standard
Coordination of housekeeping staff and duties
Ensuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary hospitality practices
Full Time, permanent role: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600
About you:
Experience in the assisting with the coordination of hospitality services
Proven ability to coordinate and lead a range of staff
Knowledge and experience with food safety legislation
The ability to work effectively under pressure and to be flexible to satisfy competing demands
Experience in stock control and in ordering stock
Previous experience in managing housekeeping services in the aged care sector or hospitality industry is preferred (but not essential)
