Our service operates before school, after school and vacation care for up to 150 children.Hours: 38 hours per week
Remuneration: Level 4.1 to 4.3 - $33.40 to $34.39, depending on qualifications and experienceKey Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:

• Program planning, delivery and documentation.
• Staff rostering and supervision.
• Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
• Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare

Job Requirements:

• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
• Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
• Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
• Experience in the education and care of children.
• Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
• Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
• Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines (Desirable).
