Pay: $34.63 to $35.63

Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business? As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
In this role, you will
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
About Goodstart Baldivis
Goodstart Baldivis has been an integral part of early learning education in Baldivis since 2003. Our centre is surrounded by natural bushland so we get lots of visits from native birds, frogs and even the occasional lizard. This lovely natural environment provides many learning opportunities for the children and they enjoy observing and feeding the animals each day. Our centre is conveniently located on the corner of Eighty Road and Safety Bay Road and is close to the bus stop with ample onsite parking. Several of our educators have been with our centre for over four years, providing a nice mix of old and new faces. They are also well-qualified and are either studying towards or have completed their qualifications. We also have two qualified early learning teachers who deliver our Kindergarten program.
