The Financial Reporting and Framework Branch in the Finance and Budget Group is looking for a talented accounting individual to join a small team undertaking whole-of-government Financial Reporting including the preparation of consolidated financial statements in an actuals and budget estimates context; undertaking complex financial research and analysis; undertaking financial analysis tasks as the Financial Analyst for a number of large reporting agencies; developing annual budget papers content and other reports; collaborating on research and analysis projects; and liaising with people in the directorate and in other parts of the ACT Government.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- TM1 experience and knowledge of ACT Government financial frameworks would be highly regarded.
- Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Accounting, Finance or similar field are desirable.
- Membership to a professional accounting body will be highly regarded.
Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill other permanent and temporary vacancies over the next 12 months. This position has moved to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
