- Lead projects and work that contributes to the working environment or operations of the division.
- Provide Divisional Support for ANAO performance audit processes.
- Lead or contribute to organising division events and activities such as preparation for senate estimates, budget, divisional planning days, divisional stand-ups and other activities as required.
- Provide advice to the division on recruitment and internal transfers, procurement, corporate processes and other requests from staff.
- Oversee division coordination of ministerial correspondence in a timely way.
- Provide mentoring and support to the broader executive support staff within the division to build capability and further enhance support to the executive.
- Work with the EO to contribute to a collaborative culture, mindset of continuous improvement and high performance that supports the Head of Division, Branch Heads, executive support staff and broader division.
- Undertake other tasks as directed.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be:
- Highly organised, with strong project management skills, attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- High initiative, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent relationship building and management skills, with the ability to harness input from staff across a variety of levels in the department.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear, concise and influential written materials.
- Resilience, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and under pressure.
- Previous experience working in executive support or a Divisional Support unit is desirable but not required.
