We are seeking a full time Assistant Practice Manager (2IC) who is focused on providing high-level support to our Practice Manager with the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
You will assist with the delivery of efficient, effective administration and reception functions, ensuring that the patient experience is aligned with our values. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the reception team, liaise and support the nursing team, medical practitioners and visiting allied practitioners.
The position is Full Time, (Monday to Friday, 38 hours a week) and some ad-hoc out of hours work as required.
About you:
- Previous experience as a Senior Receptionist (minimum of 4+ years), 2IC or Practice Manager.
- An understanding of the RACGP 5th Edition Accreditation Standards.
- Ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamwork.
- Exceptional customer service skills and you will have a positive, friendly attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and have a can-do attitude.
- High level of understanding of MBS Item codes, managing Medicare exceptions/rejections.
- Good financial acumen, including bank reconciliations, monthly reporting and debt management.
- Knowledge of Best Practice, HotDoc's & PracticeHub (or similar systems).
- Excellent computer skills and ability to use Office 365 Apps.
- Understanding of Australian Privacy Principals (APP).
- Understanding of Infection Control regulations.
- Knowledge of WH&S and site audits.
- National Police Clearance.
- Working with Children Check.
