Are you passionate about hospitality and leadership? Do you have a track record of achieving great results? If so, Roar Bar & Grill is seeking a talented Assistant Venue Manager to join our team.

THE ROLE: As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team and the Venue Manager through day to day operations. You will work closely with all key team members within RBG and Roar to drive an awesome venue and developing an amazing team with high service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting Venue Manager on day-to-day jobs.
• Take charge when Venue Manager is away or on other projects.
• Train and develop key members and ensure succession planning is in place.
• Effective rostering and implementing strategies on labour control without disrupting the service and team culture.
• Understanding of the Restaurant Industry Award
• Working alongside the Venue Manager to enhance RBG's quality, service, and results.
• Training key team members on placing orders.
• Stocktakes, analysis and variance reviews with all key stakeholders
• Maintaining compliance of food safety and liquor control act.
• Proactively leading the team during service on the floor, ensuring all areas are performing effectively, the customer experience is memorable & the team are motivated.
• Develop and maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensuring all policies, processes and systems are followed and understood by the team.
• Oversee the opening and closing procedures.
• Work together, alongside the kitchen team. One team one dream.
• Checking bookings and adjusting staff on the roster to suit labour budgets and best customer experience.
