About the role
The Associate/ Director Cyber Security and Digital Operations is senior member of the Technology and Digital Services management team and has primary responsibility for the effective leverage of complex technologies critical to the University's Future Fit Strategy.
The role is responsible for the strategy, planning, engineering and delivery of the complex cyber security program and Digital technology programs that comprise the University's security and IT Infrastructure, from external Security Operations Centre (SOC), network and data communication services, through server and storage and provision of ubiquitous services such as Microsoft O365.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Specialist technical knowledge and experience at a senior level in multiple domains along with the ability to provide high level technical leadership in the development of digital and cyber security strategy; the provision of secure digital services in a complex environment; as well as leadership of technical staff.
You will also have the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders of the University and on behalf of the University with external consultants and service providers.

Technology and Digital Services provide information and Digital systems and services to the whole of UNE to support all IT activities within UNE. It provides knowledge and leadership to support the academic, research and service activities of the University by deploying technology services, either centrally or dispersed, across the University.
