Overview

Our team is growing!  Excellent opportunity for a B2B Senior Sales Consultant to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by managing allocated new business opportunities. 

You will work closely with externa.l Third Party Intermediaries to successfully acquire new business in the B2B energy market.

Responsibilities:

Participate in a high-activity sales environment to achieve customer acquisition targets and apply strategic planning:

  • Optimise sales pipeline for effectiveness and sales performance
  • Manage allocated leads to achieve customer acquisition targets
  • Support team business development objectives
  • Conduct routine reporting on prospects and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders

Maintain commercial resilience; practicing precision and transparency by:

  • Inputting relevant prospect information to CPQ systems in a timely, accurate and complete manner,
  • Ensuring the correct and full execution of offer documentation
  • Delivering accurate and complete contract approval and client onboarding documentation
  • Managing  relevant customer communications required to implement the contract.

Increase potential of sales success through collaboration with trusted partners by:

  • Obtaining quality feedback on pricing and offer competitiveness to increase success rate
  • Managing the offer process, ensuring timely responses and effective service
  • Negotiating on acceptance of contracts and complete the contracting process
  • Performing regular reviews with TPI and prospective customers as required.

Create (design/format), prepare (weekly/monthly) and deliver appropriate B2B reporting to the  GEMS ANZ Leadership team including relevant data and commentary.

Leverage ENGIE’s investment in technology and processes to maintain efficiency and oversight of customer acquisition operations by:

  • Updating and maintaining required information in various sales databases and CRM
  • Maintaining status of sales prospects in CRM systems
  • Providing ongoing market and competitor intelligence reporting back to the business

Apply knowledge and skills to independently engage in strategic planning

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a solid sales experience (+10 year experience) in energy, utilities or similar sector in Australia.

You will also have:

  • Ability to understand and interpret complex commercial agreements
  • Exposure to a high sales environment
  • Applied problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to clearly explain and define issues/outcomes

The Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business unit is the fully integrated trading arm of the ENGIE Group. GEMS teams manage a large and highly diversified energy portfolio, including electricity, natural gas, biomass, LNG and other fuels, CO2 and environmental products, and provide a range of trading risk management solutions to all types of market participants in Europe, Asia Pacific and in the Americas. GEMS manages the B2B supply business within ENGIE, including supply contracts and Power Purchase Agreements.

Within the GEMS Business Unit, the Australia and New Zealand Business Platform (BP ANZ) are managing and developing the group’s trading activities for these regions around 4 main pillars: risk management and market access, asset management, green solutions and energy supply businesses.

The missions of the BP ANZ are:

  • Support the development and the operations of the other GBUs in all aspects related to risk representation and risk management
  • Develop a commercial franchise which contributes to the overall risk management of the portfolio and generates value
