The Point Brisbane Hotel is a leading independent deluxe hotel, home to Eagles Nest roof top bar and the well reviewed restaurant, Lamberts.
The Role:
This position is a “hands on” role and the successful candidate will be in charge of the day-to-day operation and supervision of Eagles Nest Brisbane Rooftop Bar, Ground floor Lobby Bar and function events across the hotel.
With an emphasis on high quality service standards, the responsibilities of this role is to ensure that the beverage outlets operate in an efficient, timely and service-driven manner.
The role plays a vital part in the Hotel F&B Department and will work alongside the Lamberts Restaurant Manager to share workloads and general resources.
Experience required for this role:
- Must have an RSA and hold a current RMLV or be willing to obtain one
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and WH&S
- Knowledge of stock and cost control
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience in a 5 star environment.
- Solid industry knowledge including wine, cocktails, spirits and beers.
To succeed in this role you must:
- Able to work a variety of shifts, predominantly evenings Thursday - Sunday + 1 additional shift (The venue would also be open to a part-time arrangement)
- Have the ability to develop a passionate team
- Have a "can do" attitude with a drive to deliver excellence in customer service
- Have good organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional personal presentation and professional conduct
