ABOUT THE ROLE 

About the role The Speakeasy Group is on the hunt for the right hospitality leader to take the reins of one of Australia's busiest cocktail bars, Nick & Nora's Melbourne! 

As our newly appointed Bar Manager you will be hands on during service as well as managing the batching program. You will be working alongside an incredible team of hospitality professionals where you will be able to carry on the legacy to push growth, training and the right culture within the venue and team. 

ABOUT YOU 

• 2 years + management experience in a similar role as well as living and breathing cocktails and spirits. 
• You must be sociable and enjoy delivering a pleasurable and memorable experience for our guests. 
• Excel in the management of team and guest satisfaction. 
• Strong customer focus and have a passion for the industry. 
• A high level of business, management and financial skills with a commitment of achieving outstanding results. 
• Commitment to not just your own progression but are committed to assist in progression of your team. 
• Exceptional customer service standards. 
• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping your cool.
• Knowledge of beers, wine, spirits, cocktails at an intermediate level. 
• A positive can-do attitude/work ethic. 
• Able to work quickly and efficiently. 
• Incredible communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Keen eye for detail. 
• A passion for creating signature cocktails to a world class standard
• Organised and hard working. 
• Proven leadership skills and a team player. 
• Ability to manage a P&L, weekly budget, forecasting and COGS costing. 
• Career minded with exceptional leadership skills. 
• Experience in developing and executing operational procedures.
• Experience in managing a batching program
