Based in Smeaton Grange, Steeline Sydney is currently seeking an enthusiastic BDM/Account Manager to join our team.
Are you an experienced Account Manager with a drive for business growth and development? We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our team. The BDM/Account Manager is the primary contact for our key accounts and will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing accounts and actively seek new sales opportunities.
The main responsibilities of this role are to uphold customer relationships, convert new sales into ongoing revenue, manage quotations, attend on-site client appointments and ultimately keep our customers satisfied and engaged with our products and services long term.
The main business development focus for the position is residential, roofing and fascia/gutter installers within the Macarthur and Southern Highlands vicinity.

- Meeting Sales Targets

About you:
- Proven sales experience in managing customer accounts and growing business
- Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base
- Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously
- Enthusiasm for the task at hand and a willingness to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of roofing systems
- Knowledge of structural steel componentry, (purlins, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years successful demonstrated sales experience
- Cold calling experience – desirable
- Experience with quoting and tendering
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with price structures, management and discounting
- Sales system knowledge. (Ours HarmoniQ, but fluency with any system is advantageous)
- Exceptional phone manner
