Form of workSilverstrand is seeking a Bid Coordinator to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Head Office in Murarrie.
About the role
Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, the Bid Coordinator is responsible for:
- Work and integrate with the current Estimation team and support them during the tendering process
- Ensure tight deadlines for tender submissions are archived
- Management of tender platforms and addendums to tenders
- Read new tender documentation
- Produce high quality professional written content
- Ensure bid responses reflects Silverstrand’s brand, market position, and capabilities
- Assisting in obtaining tender rates from suppliers and subcontractors
- Populate response schedules, spreadsheets and project outlines with key data
- Coordinate production, contribute to content and take responsibility for the delivery of proposal submissions
- Develop a bid writing plan and coordinate inputs with internal stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with others across all areas of the business
- Coordinating tender workshops and meetings, including reviews
- Writing and editing personnel CVs and project case studies
- Address client requirements by interpreting client briefs
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience within a Bid Coordinator role
- Experience within the Construction/ Engineering space previously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise critical work
- Excellent record keeping
- Have a positive outlook and strong work ethic as well as an ability to think outside the box
