Bids and Proposals Manager

2XM Recruit are currently seeking a Bids and Proposals Manager in North Melbourne on a permanent basis.
Role: Bids and Proposals Manager
Location: North Melbourne (2 days WFH)
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $130,000 - $135,000 plus Super
Duties:

• Formulate bid strategies in alignment with organizational goals and market conditions. Analyze RFP requirements and determine the best approach to win bids.
• Write, review, and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders within business such as Engineers and Project Managers to gather relevant information and incorporate it into proposals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams involved in the proposal process, including sales, technical, finance, and legal teams. Facilitate meetings, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion of proposal components.
• Implement best practices, templates, and tools to streamline the proposal development process. Seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future proposals.

Experience needed:

• Experience in the creation of high-quality Bids and Proposals
• Experience in the Rolling Stock, Rail, Mining, Automotive, Avionics or Defence industry
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
