Role:Bids and Proposals Manager
Location: North Melbourne (2 days WFH)
Job type: Permanent
Salary: $130,000 - $135,000 plus Super
Duties:
- Formulate bid strategies in alignment with organizational goals and market conditions. Analyze RFP requirements and determine the best approach to win bids.
- Write, review, and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders within business such as Engineers and Project Managers to gather relevant information and incorporate it into proposals.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams involved in the proposal process, including sales, technical, finance, and legal teams. Facilitate meetings, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion of proposal components.
- Implement best practices, templates, and tools to streamline the proposal development process. Seek feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future proposals.
- Experience in the creation of high-quality Bids and Proposals
- Experience in the Rolling Stock, Rail, Mining, Automotive, Avionics or Defence industry
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
