Billing Officer

Hays is excited to be partnering with this leading global law firm in the search for a Billing Specialist. Due to growth, there is now an opportunity for two Billing Specialists/Officers to join the Melbourne CBD office to join the billing team and partner with internal and external stakeholders of the business.
Your new role
In your new role, you will report to the Accounting Manager and, day to day, you will be responsible for:

• Ensure client billing guidelines are met and updated
• Co-ordinate monthly billing in Melbourne and work closely with Secretaries and Lawyer/Partners to finalise bills within the required timeframes
• Ensure billing workflows such as write-offs have appropriate documentation
• Assist with processing and responding to requests received in the Client Accounting Inbox
• Provide telephone, online and face-to-face support for all users on the system

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar, hands-on processing role with the ability to communicate effectively, accurately and maintain confidentiality. Ideally, you will have a background in a professional services environment.
