Form of workBlakeaway is a leading ready-made meal business, founded by the same team behind Blakes Feast Catering, a renowned catering company established in 1992. Blakeaway offers convenient and high-quality meal options online and through six beautiful retail stores (and two more to come in 2024), we are looking for a chef/cook to work in our city store Monday - Friday.
ROLE
Working independently at our Flinders lane location, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the kitchen, stock management, and heating our meals for lunch service as well as some general food prep.
Approximate shift times 10am -3pm with possibility of movement to full time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
2. Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate stock levels while managing wastage. Liase with our central kitchen for daily requirements.
