About us
A busy accounting firm based in Parramatta CBD looking for someone who is experienced with bookkeeping and accounting. The successful candidate should have 2 years minimum experience and proficiency in using MYOB AO Tax and Classic is preferred. The successful candidate should be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Only candidates who fulfill the criteria will be short listed and called for the interview.
Qualifications & experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Solid general accounting knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in an accounts payable/receivable role
- Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping or equivalent (Accounting Degree is an advantage)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MYOB is preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Tasks & responsibilities
- Basic Bookkeeping Work
- Preparation of financial statement
- Preparation of Tax and BAS Returns
- Familiar with STP and Superannuation Contribution
- Assisting with administration work
