Form of workPeople2people are working with a leading provider of scaffolding hire service based in Marleston. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. On a part time temporary basis from 12:00pm-17:00pm Monday to Friday for 3 months with protentional to extend or become a permeant member of the team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth financial operation of our business. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements
- Manage payroll functions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain general ledger accounts
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting software and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience in the construction industry
- Understanding of payroll tax regulations
