ABOUT DEVIATION ROAD
Deviation Road has been producing premium wines in the Adelaide Hills for 24 years. Our Longwood property is based on 100 acres and is home to heritage protected bushland, vineyard, winery plus tasting room which is open to the public daily.
THE POSITION | (Maternity leave contract) Part time (.4 FTE) Bookkeeper
To be successful you must have advanced MYOB skills to process Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll as well as coordinating relevant reports for processing and forecasting. Previous experience with a wine client (knowledge of WET) is a must and relevant tax obligation knowledge are preferred. The position works closely with our Accountant and reports to the senior management team.
- You are a self-starter with hands on experience in managing office accounts payable, receivable and sales order entry and reporting experience. One workday must must fall on a Thursday, there is some flexibility with the second. This position requries you to work on-site at our Longwood office.
- Strong financial and analytical skills in preparing cashflow reports, budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to understand digital integration across several different software platforms (primarily MYOB Essentials, Deputy and WineDirect)
- WET experience
- Payroll and HR Employment contract experience
- MS Office & G-Suite on PC
- You are a clear communicator with the ability to liaise across a wide variety of stakeholders.
- You are highly motivated with excellent attention to detail and impeccable filing.
