To ensure Hood Sweeney maintains its high standards of client service excellence, it is now seeking a committed professional to provide high level bookkeeping support to clients as part of our Accounting and Business Advisory service.
Your major responsibilities will include:
- Management of multiple bookkeeping jobs;
- Maintaining accurate records of all business transactions;
- Responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable and payable system;
- Preparation of month-end reconciliations and management reports;
- Assistance with debtor control;
- Preparation of BAS, PAYG and superannuation payments;
- Processing of Group payroll requirements;
- Utilising Xero and MYOB;
- Other administrative tasks as required.
To succeed in this role you will demonstrate superior bookkeeping skills with Xero and MYOB and possess an outstanding ability to prioritise. You will also have sound organisational skills and knowledge of GST. Ideally, you will have a can-do attitude, ability to work within a team environment, have worked in a similar Bookkeeping function role and demonstrate excellent personal judgment and integrity.
Experience and knowledge of Payroll systems and leave reconciliation processes is an essential requirement.
