What you'll do:
As Bookkeeper, you will play an integral role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include meticulous account reconciliations, managing payroll, conducting bank reconciliations, preparing insightful reports, and handling administrative ad hoc tasks. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency will contribute significantly to our ongoing success.
- Perform account reconciliations meticulously and accurately
- Manage payroll duties ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare reports providing valuable insights into the company's financial status
- Handle administrative ad hoc tasks efficiently and effectively
What you bring:
The ideal candidate this role will bring a wealth of experience from similar roles, with the ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision. Experience in accounts/bookkeeping is required, along with a friendly and flexible approach to work. Experience within the Construction/Retail/Wholesale industry and possession of an accounting/bookkeeping certification would be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience as a proactive team player who brings a friendly and flexible approach to work
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in large ERP software
- Experience within the Construction/Retail/Wholesale industry (advantageous)
- Possession of an accounting/bookkeeping certification is highly desirable
