Utopia Care is seeking to expand its team with a full-time Bookkeeper/Finance Coordinator to play an integral part in Utopia Care’s continued success. This role is crucial in managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and preparation of accurate financial records and statements.
Utopia Care’s head office is in the picturesque beachside of Glenelg, where you will have access to onsite parking.
Reporting to Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end processing of accounts payable utilising Xero
- Invoicing and collection of outstanding debts
- Payroll, including calculation and payment of statutory requirements
- General ledger reconciliation, including bank
- Preparation of accounts to trial balance
- End-of-month accounts close, including adjustment and accrual journals
- Preparation of financial statements
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Liaising with accountants on Utopia Cares' behalf
As the Bookkeeper/Finance Coordinator, you will have previous experience performing similar duties, a Cert IV in Bookkeeping or similar, and practical experience utilising Xero and Excel.

- Experience within a NDIS environment (desirable)
