POSITION PURPOSETo ensure that all financial operations during the Amaroo 2024 event are conducted with the highest efficiency and according to the Australian Legislative requirements.
KEY TASKS- Input of event budget into Reckon Hosted and supply accurate tailored budgets to event areas for management
- Payables
- Receivables
- Bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
- Wages for IR and Amaroo event staff (contract and payroll)
- Income reconciliation for event (Registration System to STRIPE to BANK to RECKON)
- Assistance with cash flow management, bookkeeping in general
- Assistance with final event audit requirements
- Work with the Finance Manager on operational and financial operating procedures for event
- Where necessary work with entire event team and liaise with Board of Directors for Ivory's Rock
- Flexibility and additional tasks as required
SKILLS/APTITUDES- Professional Finance experience
- Reckon Hosted experience desirable
- Knowledge of Regfox, Stripe, Square, CommBiz platforms desirable
- Strong Excel / MS Office experience essential
- Project Management experience
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Passion, commitment and understanding of the role and processes for events
- Able to keep information discreet at all times
- Able to work effectively and respectfully with volunteers and staff from diverse multicultural backgrounds
- Able to coordinate and work as a team, delegate responsibility and resolve conflicts

HOURS REQUIRED- 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility required during event dates.
- Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate.
OTHER:- NDA Confidentiality Agreement required
- Valid Australian drivers Licence (compulsory)
- Hours to be managed with the Finance Manager. We are a flexible organisation. We do require full time attendance when we go ‘live’ for the Event 9th September to 13th September
